Leaving a legacy will have a lasting impact on the environment and mean that the River Trent and its catchment is looked after for years to come. Remembering the Trent Rivers Trust in your Will ensures that future generations can enjoy it as much as you have.
A legacy to the Trent Rivers Trust can take the form of a gift of money or possessions. There is a number of different kinds of legacies:
Pecuniary Legacy: a fixed sum of money
Residuary Legacy: the remainder of your estate once all other bequests have been made and debts cleared.
Specific Bequest: A particular item that you want to leave to the charity.
Contingent Bequest: A gift in your will that is dependant on something that may or may not happen, for example that the beneficiaries named in the Will die before the Testator (person who made the Will).
